Continual Rise in Prices of China's Housing:Causes and CountermeasuresAbstract:In recent years,the continual rise in prices of China's housing has brought a negative impact to the society.The underlying causes include the economic factor as well as non-economic ones such as psychological expectations and consumer culture.Targetting at the spiral rising of housing prices,the Chinese Government has put into effect a series of macro-economic regulatory measures in an attempt to stabilize housing prices in order to ensure the healthy development of the real estate industry.In spite of this,the pace of the price hike of China's housing prices has not witnessed any slowdown.To provide a solution to this problem,this paper sums up the macroeconomic policies and other measures already adopted by the government,and lays out proposals on how the ever increasing real estate prices can be curbed from the roots.Keywords: countermeasures
