　　关于女人贞洁观的出现，到底是不是社会的进步，我想没有必要再去讨论了。从人性的角度看，贞洁观是造成古代寡妇悲惨命运的主要罪魁之一，应该不会有人反对。由于贞洁观的出现，寡妇们只能望性兴叹，难奈的寂寞和感情的饥渴，无时无刻不在折磨着她们，导致形成了中国历史上一个非正常人格的特殊人群。为了排解和宣泄人性最基本的欲望，寡妇们曾经挣扎过、抗争过。
　　话说在富丽堂皇的皇宫里，什么样的东西没有呢?全天下的物件可都是天子老子的。不管是天子身边的妃子，还是一般的宫女，物质生活都比外面的平民女子好上不止十倍。饱热思淫欲，在高高宫墙内，这一群被称为“宫廷活寡妇的”宫中女子们有着难以言说的苦衷和愤恨。
　　时光已过往几百几千年，我们无法亲眼见到她们的眼泪和欢笑，只能从历史的长河中寻得蛛丝马迹。从离我们最近的清朝进手，翻开清宫医案案卷，在宫中女子的病案中我们可以发现，清宫中各宫女子诊病，基本无具体脉案记载，处方多为治肝治胃之法，这反映的不仅仅是她们的基本病情，同时也反映了她们低下的社会地位。
